Horizontal Rule

The procedure to determine All-State Teams and WFCA All-Star Teams:

For All-State Condideration:

  1. The player must be named to the All-Region Team. In order for a player to be name All-Region, the head coach must complete the nomination form, be named to the All-Conference team, and give it to the conference representative to the All-Region meeting. You may give him the form at the All-Conference meeting. Each conference must have a representative present at the All-Region meeting. Keep a copy of the completed nomination form for Shrine Bowl use.

  2. Your District Representative will help organize the All-Region meeting which will be held during the first week of November. He will make copies of your nomination form for distribution and consideration at the All-Region meeting. Be sure your All-Conference meeting is held prior to the All-Region Meeting.

  3. The coaches at the All-Region meeting will determine which players will be considered for All-State. This will be based on vote totals and the facts on the nomination form you submitted. Copies will then be made for the District Representatives to consider at the All-State meeting.

For WFCA All-Star Game Consideration: (Before December 1)

  1. Make a copy of the form you submitted for the All-Region Team. Mail the copy to your Vice President as indicated on page 13. (These forms are in the Members Only area.) You must follow this procedure for a player to be considered. Players named to the WFCA All-State team are NOT guaranteed a position on the WFCA All-Star team.
