ABOUT THE DIVISION 2 FIELD: Ashwaubenon is no stranger to the title game. The Jaguars, the tri-champions of the Bay Conference, are making their fourth appearance at State. They won the Division 2 title in 1996 and finished runner-up in 1993 and 1998. Ashwaubenon defeated Menomonie in the semifinal 35-14. The Jaguars advanced through the bracket by defeating Germantown 14-7, Marinette 34-15 and West Bend East 26-14. Hamilton, second-place finisher in the Greater Metro Conference, is in its first-ever championship game. The Chargers defeated Monroe in the semifinal 20-15. They also defeated Wisconsin Lutheran 29-13, Cedarburg 6-0 and Cudahy 46-6 en route through the tournament.
