Len Luedtke - Shawano, Marshfield

Len Luedtke

Len graduated from New London High School in 1971 where he lettered in football, wrestling and track. 

Luedtke continued to compete interscholastically at UW-Eau Claire participating in football,  wrestling, and track.

In 1975, Luedtke began his teaching and coaching career at Shawano High School. In 1978 Len was named head football coach.

In 1989 Denny Myers hired Len as a mathematics teacher and coach at Marshfield High School He was head football coach for fifteen years.
The Tigers won division 1 state championships in 1997, 2001, and 2002.  They were division 1 state runner-up in 1999 and 2004 with  a 136-44 record under Coach Luedtke.

Len also served as athletic director for eight years and was an assistant principal for three years.  He retired in 2011 and now lives north of Amherst on ten acres in the woods.  Deer hunting, trout fishing, and horseshoes provide new challenges every year.
