Tim Wagner - Johnson Creek

Tim is the son of John and Diane Wagner. He was born in Watertown, Wisconsin, on May 26, 1962. Tim attended St. John’s Lutheran grade school until 1976 and then graduated from Jefferson High School in 1980. Tim lettered in football, basketball, and baseball. He earned All-Conference recognition in football, basketball, and baseball while also earning All-State honors in basketball and baseball. 

After high school, Tim attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, graduating in 1984 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education along with a coaching minor. While at UW-Whitewater, Tim earned varsity letters in both basketball and baseball. In baseball he achieved all-conference and all-district recognition. 

In the fall of 1984, Tim began his coaching career at Palmyra-Eagle High School as a freshmen coach while student teaching. In the fall of 1985 Tim took his first teaching job in Tomahawk, Wisconsin where he served as varsity assistant football coach and junior varsity basketball coach. 

In the fall of 1987, Tim took a teaching job and head football coaching position at Johnson Creek High School. As the head football coach at Johnson Creek, Tim has a career record of 144-107 with conference championships in 2005 and 2007. During his current career at Johnson Creek the Bluejays have qualified for the WIAA playoffs 13 out of the past 17 years. Currently he serves as a conference representative for the WFCA.
