WFCA All-State and Player of the Year Awards

The Wisconsin Football Coaches Association has announced its 2021 All-State, Player of the Year, and Assistant Coach of the Year Awards. The WFCA once again produced separate All-State teams for Large Schools and Small Schools as well as 8-Player.

The WFCA Coach of the Year will be released after the state finals.

In the Large Schools, Franklin senior quarterback Myles Burkett was selected as the Offensive Player of the Year. Sun Prairie senior defensive end Isaac Hamm was chosen as the Large Schools Defensive Player of the Year. Lake Country Lutheran senior quarterback Luke Haertle was named the Offensive Player of the Year for Small Schools, while Saint Croix Central senior defensive lineman Carson Hinzman took home WFCA Small School Defensive Player of the Year recognition.

Robbie Smazal of Colby was selected as the WFCA Assistant Coach of the Year.
