The Wisconsin Football Coaches Association has announced its 2022 All-State, Player of the Year, and Assistant Coach of the Year Awards. The WFCA once again produced separate All-State teams for Large Schools and Small Schools as well as 8-Player.
The WFCA Coach of the Year and Assistant Coach of the Year will be released after the state finals.
In the Large Schools, Sun Prairie East senior quarterback Jerry Kaminski was selected as the Offensive Player of the Year. Bay Port senior outside linebacker Josiah Azure was chosen as the Large Schools Defensive Player of the Year.
Mayville senior running back Blake Schraufnagel was named the Offensive Player of the Year for Small Schools, while Turner senior defensive end Brent Hoppe took home WFCA Small School Defensive Player of the Year recognition.
8-Player Offensive Player of the Year went to Newman Catholic quarterback Conner Krach. The 8-Player Defensive Player of the Year was Owen-Withee defensive back Logan Amacher.
