The Wisconsin Football Coaches Association has announced its 2023 All-State, Player of the Year, and Assistant Coach of the Year Awards. The WFCA once again produced separate All-State teams for Large Schools and Small Schools as well as 8-Player.
The WFCA Coach of the Year will be released after the state finals.
In the Large Schools, Franklin senior running back Terrance Shelton was selected as the Offensive Player of the Year. Appleton North senior inside linebacker Brock Arndt was chosen as the Large Schools Defensive Player of the Year.
Columbus senior running back Colton Brunell was named the Offensive Player of the Year for Small Schools, while Rice Lake senior inside linebacker Easton Stone took home WFCA Small School Defensive Player of the Year recognition.
The 8-Player Football Player of the Year went to Three Lakes/Phelps' Tyler Janikowski.
Marquette's James Becker was selected as the Assistant Coach of the Year by the WFCA.
