Ade Dillon - Lawrence / Appleton West

Born July 14, 1913 in Summit, New Jersey

Attended High School in Coldwater, Michigan, Graduate of North Central College

Coached football at: 

• Lawrence College 1937-42; and 
• Appleton West High School 1942-69.

Coached Football 32 years, Won 123, Lost 76, Tied 7 (27 years)

Championships were won in the Fox River Valley Conference in 1947: 1956, 1957 and 1963. Ade was an assistant coach in the first Wisconsin High School All Star Game in 1946. 

He was President of the Wisconsin Coaches Association 1951-53. 

He started the Wrestling and Swimming programs at Appleton West. Ade coached Tennis for 15 years and assisted in Track for five years. In 1957 Ade was Coach of the Year in the Fox River Valley Conference. 

Ade retired after teaching social studies at Appleton West for 35 years.
