Attended Lancaster High School, Graduate of Platteville State College, Attended University of Wisconsin, Case Institute of Technology and University of Wyoming

Coached football at:

• Spring Green High School 9 years;
• Oregon High School 1 year; and
• Clintonville High School 1942-66, 25 years

Coached Football 35 years, Won 150, Lost 96, Tied 13

At Spring Green Tony coached teams that won seven championships and in 1930 they outscored their opponents 397 to 2. Tony started football at Oregon in 1941 and did not play a varsity schedule that year. In 25 years at Clintonville his teams won titles the 1947, 1950, and 1959 seasons.

Tony was an assistant on the North All Star Squad in 1948. As a player Tony captained his high school football team in 1923 and college team in 1927. He also coached basketball, boxing, baseball, golf, and track.
