Clinton Peters - Mishicot

Born November 25, 1931 in Black Creek, WI

Attended Oshkosh High School, Graduate of St. Norberts College

M.S. University of Wisconsin-Madison and University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh

Coached football at Mishicot High School 1957-77.

His record was 97 wins, 54 losses and 7 ties, six championships with two undefeated seasons.

Clint coached football for 21 years. He also coached basketball from 1961 to 1970, winning 134 games and five championships. He coached track for seven years and has been athletic director since 1960.

As an athlete Clint earned letters in football, baseball and track at Oshkosh High School. He played under Tom Hearden and Mel Nicks at St. Norberts where he earned Little All-American honors as a senior and also was the captain and most valuable player on the Green Knights football team where he played linebacker on defense and guard on offense.

At St. Norbert, he was also enrolled in the Reserve Officers Training Corp (ROTC) and upon graduation, entered the Army as a 2nd Lt., stationed at the Fort Bliss Missile School.

He was a charter member of the Mishicot Jaycees, and active member of the Mishicot Lions Club. He is also a member of the St. Norbert College Alumni Association. In 1977 Clint was inducted into the Lakeshore Sports Hall of Fame.

He retired as a football coach in 1977.
