WFCA All-State and Player of the Year Awards

The Wisconsin Football Coaches Association has announced its 2018 All-State, Player of the Year, and Assistant Coach of the Year Awards. For the first time ever, the WFCA has produced separate All-State teams for Large Schools and Small Schools. This change will coincide with an adjustment to the Region and District structure within the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association. To see the new Region groupings, please click here.

The WFCA Coach of the Year will be released after the state finals.

In the Large Schools, Pulaski senior running back/quarterback Dylan Hendricks was selected as the Offensive Player of the Year. Waunakee senior defensive end Reed Ryan was chosen as the Large Schools Defensive Player of the Year. Grantsburg senior Leo Chenal was named both the Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year for Small Schools, selected as a running back and linebacker.

Tom Cabalka of Middleton was selected as the WFCA Assistant Coach of the Year.
