Nomination information for Academic All-State will be emailed to all head coaches in August or early September each year. If you are a head coach and did not receive the information, please contact Travis Wilson. The deadline for submitting Team and Individual Academic All-State nominations is October 15th.

Individual Academic All-State
The WFCA, in a continuing effort to recognize the great players within the state of Wisconsin, would like to offer an Academic All-State Award to all of our players that can meet the following requirements:

• Age Qualification: Senior (12th Grade)
• Academic Qualification: 3.75 (cumulative) GPA or higher
• Athletic Qualification: Varsity Letterwinner
• There is no limit to the number of players you can nominate for Individual Academic All-State, as long as they meet the minimum requirements.

​The WFCA will provide a PDF form you can print and fill out to be presented to the Individual players, if you choose.

TEAM Academic All-State
The WFCA would also like to recognize those TEAMS, regardless of W-L record, with Academic All-State Award recognition. The team award is purely an academic award that we feel is deserving, as those teams have endured countless hours dedicated to the sport of football while their leaders, the seniors, have still maintained an exceptional GPA and remained dedicated in the classroom. This award represents the team, but more importantly the senior class! 
The following criteria would need to be met:

• Academic Qualification: Average Cumulative GPA of ALL Seniors* = 3.33 or higher.
• *must have a minimum of 5 seniors
• If you do not have 5 seniors, your team would not be eligible for this award.
• The coach will be responsible for listing all seniors and their cumulative GPA’s. You must enter all seniors and their cumulative GPA's, so please have this information ready and available prior to filling out the form.

We may request confirmation from the Principal, AD or Guidance Counselor to confirm the data.

WFCA Individual and Team Academic All-State recognition will be recognized in the Point After, on the WFCA website , and on WisSports.net (and other media outlets, if they choose to publish).
